Established in 1969 and founded and sponsored by the Knights of the Southern Cross, Southern Cross Care (Vic) is a reputable community-based organisation that provides excellence in quality care to more than 5,300 seniors in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Solution
Southern Cross Care released a tender in 2009 to find a new digital and web partner for the organization moving forward. They were looking for a partner that could help them grow as an organization online, and support their digital and technology needs.
The new design and development project for Southern Cross Care included the design and development of an Intranet, Extranet and Public Internet website.
The Intranet was to be accessible to employees and volunteers, the Extranet accessible to volunteers and partners, and the Internet website open for all users.
After discussion with Southern Cross Care, Newpath WEB developed the solution using a combination of Microsoft SharePoint, and also Drupal.
