Solution
The Microsoft SharePoint project for AGR included the deployment of a SharePoint application from a single server environment to a new environment that spans 6 servers.
The project scope also included the design and build of the server environment, and the data migration from the old environment to the new environment. The objective of the migration was to overcome storage, capacity, and performance space problems of the existing environment.
The deployment consisted of a SharePoint migration from a 1 server environment to a 6 server environment, 2 x web, 2 x application & 2 x DB the backend/storage is via Fiber Channel to SAN based storage.
